'CONTROL IS INVISIBLE, NOT ENABLED'

I'm using Word 2000. This evening the following error message appeared when
opening up Word
VISUAL BASIC BOX OPENED UP
"RUN-TIME ERROR
CAN'T MOVE FOCUS TO THE CONTROL BECAUSE IT IS INVISIBLE, NOT ENABLED OR OF A
TYPE THAT FOES NOT ACCEPT THE FOCUS"
My choices are END or HELP. HELP is not loading up and I cannot find
anything about this error on the net or in a discussion.
By clicking END i get into the document but it does not allow a drop down
menu from FILE.
Any ideas would be helpful.

Sounds like a JavaScript error. Have you checked your computer recently for
viruses or spyware? You could also make sure that your view is not set to
Web Layout. I've seen this occur from an installation of a program that
didn't finish.

Thank you Christina,
Anti-Virus is updated daily and spyware run every other other. But I will
give them a run through tomorrow to see if this clears the prob.
Funny thing was it happened to two computers at the same time but the other
three are fine.
It could be a bug !! Thanks for the heads up.
