Control panel problems

Not even sure if this is the right place to post. Anyway
this error comes up when I go under settings and control
panel to make changes on my desktop , it wont allow me to
edit anything. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should
do to fix the problem? Also, I just switched to comcast
cable connection not sure if that would have anything to
do with it?

You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the

It the wrong newsgroup you posted to. This newsgroup is
for Microsoft Access, a database application. Suggest you
re-post the the relevant Windows newsgroup(s).

However, it is likely the problem is the (lack of)
permission. Depending on the set-up of the PC, you may
need Administrator's permission to be able to access / to
change the settings in the Control Panel.
