I have one pc with windows98 O.S. In the computer I am
unable to access the Control Panel such as add and remove
programes and all other programmes. It is saying not
accessable. What will be the problem and how to solve
this. Please let me now the reason and solvation of the
problem (detailed) as early as possible.

You are actually on a MSAccess forum with this question, but
as I just ran into an infected computer with the same
symptoms yesterday, I will spare you the hours of research
that I put into the problem.

I believe that this is resulting in some type of new
internet trojan/malware attack. I think that you will find
that the root of the problem is that your Windows
"rundll32.exe" file and maybe your "rundll.exe" files have
been replaced with 0 byte files. It was the rundll32.exe on
the computer I had the problem with.

Use the Extract utility or the system file checker,
depending on your operating system, to replace them and I
think that you may solve the problem. That was the fix for
my problem machine with Win ME on it.

Do a virus and a 'SpyBot' scan afterwards to try and root
out the problem. I do not yet know what caused the problem,
only the cure.
