Control Toolbox Access 2000

I am stumped!
I have no control toolbox no matter what I do. The toolbar icon changes when I select it, but no window appears. I have tried altering the toolbars, resetting to defaults, reinstalling access, reinstalling office, and still no luck.
Can anyone help me??

Is it perhaps along either the left or right edge of the
screen, or in line with one of the other toolbars at the
top? Try right clicking any toolbar, choose Customize,
click the Toolbars tab, select Toolbox from the list, and
click the Reset button. Click Ok, then Close. Try
again. If still no luck, go back to Customize and clear
the check boxes for everything except Toolbox and Menu
Bar, then click Close. If you see the Toolbox (perhaps
docked to the top of the window), look for the sort of
raised vertical bar at the left edge. Click and drag to
move the toolbox to the middle of the screen. Other
things to try: Click View > Toolbox. If that works (or
even if it doesn't), go back to Customize. Drag the
Toolbox icon off of the toolbar, and let go of the mouse
button. Click the Commands tab, then click View on the
left and look for the Toolbox icon on the right. When you
find it, drag it to the toolbar of your choice. Click
Close, and try again. That's about all I can think of.
