controlling borders

Hi : )
I'm using Word 2003 and used the Tables to create a form. I chose to draw
some borders and want to change the lines of my borders. Some will change to
the new line I've selected. Others won't change from the original line I used
to draw the border. Does anyone know why some of these borders seem to be
stuck and won't allow me to change them? I need to get them to change.

hard to give advice without knowing exactly how you constructed your
table (normale table, table within a table) or how you applied the borders.

I've found that it's usually easier to scratch all borders and start
applying them again directly with the correct line type (width etc.).
