Controlling Excel chart objects programmatically

Wish to adjust Axis Titles, Plot Areas, Inside Plot Areas independently, but
find that some of these objects (Axis Titles) are included in the Plot Area
metrics.

Can this be done? If so, can I be directed to a matrix of
properties/methods of those objects to size/place independently?
