Controlling Excel

I am writing code to gather data, export it to Excel (putting it in specific
cells) so that an Excel chart is dynamically updated with the new data. My
question is how do (or can) I set the charts datasource with code. The
amount of data will vary (50 cells, 45 cells, etc.) and I need to be able to
tell the chart where the data ends (it always starts in the same cell). Any
help is appreciated.

I don't do it often but when I need that kind of code I just turn on the
Excel macro recorder and do the task manually once and then read what the
recorder wrote.
