Controlling Line Spacing between last 2 lines of a Bullet Point

Peter Barrett

Hi

Can anyone advise how to control the line spacing between the last two line
of a bullet point?

I have been using the FORMAT / LINE SPACING menu and setting what I think
are appropriate spacings. However, the spacing between the last two line of
text of the bullet point is ALWAYS different to that between the earlier
lines in the bullet point.

How can I prevent this?

Thanks in advance for any help - my wife is going spare trying to complete
her first presentation for her mew job.

All the best.

Put your cursor at the end of the next-to-last line and hit delete until the
next line of text is part of the line you're on now. Then hit Enter to
recreate the last bullet point.

I'm guessing you have a soft return (Shift+Enter) in there somewhere, and
that's causing the line spacing issues. It might just be the line spacing
settings you used, though. Hard to tell without knowing the specifics.

If you select the text placeholder (click the edge, or put your cursor in
the text area and hit Esc), not the text itself, your line spacing setting
should apply to all the bullets.

Finally, if you make your settings on the text placeholder in the slide
master (View|Master|Slide Master), those settings will apply to your text
automatically when you create a new slide and type into a box where it says
"click to add text."
