Controlling name of index files

S

Scott

MS Publisher 2003
Windows XP

Under Tools --> Options --> Web tab, I've unchecked "Organize supporting
files in a folder"
For each web page: Tools --> Web Page Options, I've specified a file name
(about.htm, contact.htm, services.htm, etc).

When I publish the website, every web page except the home page is prefixed
with "index_", i.e. index_about.htm, index_contact.htm, index_services.htm,
etc.

Is there a way to make Publish honour the file name I specified? I don't
want the "index_" prefix on the file names.

Thanks,
Scott

Well, yeah, but I don't want "index_files/foo" in the URL. It would be nice
if Publisher let *me* control the file name, rather than forcing
"index_foo.htm" on me.

That may be the "way it works" but it's poor design IMO. Give me control
over the program rather than the other way around.
