Hi Friends,
I have a very unusual problem with Excel2000. I have experienced
the same problem with Excel97 also.
Whenever I reduce the screen resolution, all the controls(command
buttons, toggle buttons & labels) in the excel sheet also change in size. It
doesn't happen to controls that are within userforms. But the controls placed
on then excel sheets increase in size(Please see the example below), and
overlap with other neighbouring controls.
This occurs only when I have the excel sheet open when I change
the resolution of the screen. To see the change one has to close the excel
file after changing the resoution and reopen it.
Can anyone tell me what is happeneing behind?
Example:
Original Screen resoution: 1280 by 1024 pixels
command button size: Height - 0.33"; Width - 0.89" (in the 'Format Control'
window)
Height - 24 (in the 'Properties' window)
New Screen Resolution: 800 by 600 pixels
command button size: Height - 0.5"; Width - 1.34" (in the 'Format Control'
window)
Height - 36 (in the 'Properties' window)
Thanks a lot in advance
