Conversion from 2003 to 2007 messing with my permissions

I posted this a few minutes ago under a different thread but I don't think I
explained my problem clearly the first time.

I built a database in 2003 and set user permissions and passwords along with
it. I converted to 2007 this morning and now I am unable to open anything in
the database. For example, when I try to open a Query I get the following
error message: Could not read definitions; no read definitions permission for
table or query. I have tried going into Database Tools and then Users and
Permissions and tried giving access to myself but it won't let me. I am
unable to open the database back up in 2003 so I cannot log on and grant
anyone else permissions. I have also tried saving the file as a 2007 file and
exporting all the data to a new Access file but I am hit with another message
about permissions. How do I get around this? I am unable to grant anyone
permissions and it keeps telling me to contact the designer of the database
(which is me)! How do I get around this? I need to get back into this and
continue modifying it for a project at work and would like to get it fixed
today. Thanks in advance for any help!

Are you being prompted for a User Name and Password when you open the
database? Do you still have the original .mdb file that you converted to 2007?
