conversion from trial outlook 2007 to licensed version

Hi,

i installed the trial version of outlook 2007 in december, and now
when i try converting to the licensed version after buying the CD from
amazon, using the given product key, i get an error message that says:
The key is incorrect. Verify that you have the correct key, and then
retype it.

the same goes for my Office Home and Student 2007.

does anyone know what's going on?

Yu need to uninstall the trial version before installing the purchased version.
