Conversion of ALPHA V to ACCESS

We are considering converting a database currently being
used, ALPHA Five to ACCESS. I need to know if the data
can be converted electronically from ALPHA FIVE to ACCESS.

Hi Deborah,

It's possible to transfer the data by exporting from Alpha Five in a
format Access can read (e.g. DBF). But all the functionality of the
database application will have to be re-created using Access's own
concepts and tools.

Right you can convert the data but you will need to
rebuild the functionality to today's standards.

You can do this:
1) Using 3 rd party tool with native API - Data Junction
2) Export to common formart then importing
3) Obtaining ODBC driver for your product

Let me know if you have any other questions
