Conversion of Files Microsoft Project 2000 to 98

I have Files Microsoft Project 2000 and I want to acess in Microsoft Project 98. May I convert these files without Microsoft Project 2000

No, someone who has Project 2000 (or later) will have to save the files
in Project 98 format. If you don't know anyone, you can send me the
files (zipped). If they are not corrupt, I will save as Project 98 and
send them back.
