I
in a bind
I have several 97DB's that need to be shared with users
that will be using Access2000. I have split the DB into
FE/BE which are in 2 different folders on our network. I
have all the users joining the 97 workgroup file as that
is where the security is whether they open Access97 or
Access2000. I have opened the DB in Access2000 and
converted. All seems fine until I go to Security - user
groups permissions/accounts. I get the message: Record(s)
cannot be read; no read permission on 'MSysAccounts'. I
am the owner of the DB with ADMIN rights. All the users
are able to login to the DB with their username that was
set up in Access97, I just can't see the list of
usernames. I can see that I am the owner of all the DB
objects. How do I see the usernames and assign
permissions ? What have I done wrong & how do I fix it ?
Thanks for your help.
