Conversion templates to 2007

A customer from the company i work for has a problem. They upgraded to office
2007.

We made them .dot templates. These wont run in 2007. They do run in 2003.

Is there anyway to make them function in 2007?

Templates created in earlier versions of Word can be used in Word 2007. Can
you provide some additional details on "won't run"? Do they have macros?
