Convert 2003 to *.asc file

We use Word to create large groups of notes for AutoCAD. In older versions of Word we would save the documents as "MS-DOS Text with Layout," which would turn them into *.asc files. We cannot find a converter for Word 2003 that does that. Can anyone help me find such a converter?
