Print the file to the "Microsoft Office Document Image Writer". I believe
this is part of Office 2003 (and earlier??)
Open the .MDI file that is created. On my PC it automatically opens using
"Microsoft Office Document Imaging"
Save the file as a .TIF file. Select the lossless compression option

Open in Paint and then save in image file format of your choice.

This could be .JPG although lossy compression used in .JPG is not really
suitable for images of text. I would use .TIF or .GIF

PDFCreator can create documents in the following formats: Portable
Document Format (PDF), Postscript (PS), Encapsulated Postscript (EPS),
PNG, JPEG, BMP, PCX, and TIFF.

If you have Microsoft Publisher, you can copy and paste your MS Word
document into Publisher and save as a jpg there. Or purchase a program like
SnagIt and you can take any portion of a screen and save as jpg or select
any portion of your MS Word screen and save to clipboard and then paste into
another document.

You don't need any additional program to make a screen copy. Just hit
"Print Screen" and then paste into Paint or another graphics program
(Irfanview is very good and free). From there, save as jpg.
