convert from newspaper-style column to letter format

I am trying to figure it out. How I can convert a straight column of
newspaper-style column to letter format. I copied and paste from PDF
newspaper column into Word Document (Word 2003) then I used type on "End"
keystroke and space bar in every end of sentences of the column to become
slowing process of letter format. I am looking for convert of the shortcut
from straight column to letter format in the Word Document. Can you help me
to show how do to it? Thanks

If what you mean is that you have a narrow column of text because each line
ends in a line or paragraph break, see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/CleanWebText.htm. If the text is really
formatted in columns, then change the number of columns to 1.
