Convert master document to a single file

I have a long specification document that is written as about 10 separate
..docs and pulled together in a master document, but I want to deliver the
final copy as a single .doc.

What is the recommended method of merging the files into one - surely I
don't have to copy and paste?

The second of these gives a step-byt-step process which you should collow
carefully if you want to ensure that any corruption in the document is
weeded out.
