convert MDI to jpeg

Can this software (microsoft office document imaging) convert MDI or TIFF to
jpeg or gift? Is there a way to do so if not?

Paint does not read Tiff files and I dont have any other program to open it
in. Is there no additional plug in or anything to make this process easier?

Paint will open "some" .tif" file formats, but try "Irfanview", easily
found on the internet.
