convert *.ppt file to *.pps file?

How to convert a ppt file into a pps file so that the slideshow runs
automatically when one clicks on the file sent in an e-mail?

Rename it from .ppt to .pps
Or open it with PowerPoint,File > Save As, enter the file name (no
extension), and then select "PowerPoint Show(*.pps)" in the "Save as Type"
box and click OK.

Many thanks for your reply. It's so simple that I feel stupid asking the
question!!! And, to think tha I couldn't get the answer from the PPT Help
section....<sigh>
