Convert Shape Sheet data to Excel Visio 2003

How can I take the data information on my shape sheet within Visio 2003 and
convert it to an Excel spreedsheet? An will I be able to manipulate changes
made to Excel sheet to Visio shape sheet?

Roundtripping of data between shapes and external data sources is a very
common request, unfortunately even at the latest version (v2007) it still
requires custom code. The caveat is that o2007/v2007(pro) have put a
significant amount of new functionality to support this.

Thanks Al I thought going to v2007 might be a better option for me. I just
got done taking a look at a training video of v2007 on how to import and link
data to shapes.
