Hi
If I import a website created in earlier versions and then upload can FP
2003 eliminate the need for FP extensions. Will I lose search function or
forms and can I FTP easily rather than http. Also is 2003 compatible with
dreamweaver??

You will still need the extensions, if you continue to use features that require them. The FP2003
offers the same features as FP2002 that requires the FP extensions.

If the remote site has the FP extensions, then do not use the import functions, instead open the
site and the publish it to your local machine, so that you will maintain the navigation, themes,
shared borders, include page, etc. which will not be maintained if you import.

No, not if you have features requiring extensions.

As long as you're not using any features that require the FrontPage extensions.
