I have 25 documents created in Word 2003 with at least 16 charts linked to
Excel 2003 spreadsheets in each document. My computer was recently updated
with Office 2007. When I try to update these links, Word 2007 is reformatting
the charts so that they do not look the way they appear in Excel. The issue
remains whether the document is a .doc or a docx. I was told to convert all
of my Word documents to .docx files and all of the Exel spreadsheets to .xlsx
files. Is there a way to do this so that all of my links do not get broken?
Or is there a way to keep the files as 2003 and avoid the formatting problems?
Thanks,
Kathy
