PS
In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files before you open the site in FP
Usually in %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache
Also you may have some corrupt meta data thinking the subweb is already a folder (or one exists by that name)
If it is a local site browse to it in Windows Explorer and in NotePad open the file "services" in the _vti_pvt folder
- you should see a list of the folders FP "thinks" are webs (root) or subwebs
| Ok, forget Windows Explorer, as you should never modify any of your web content outside of FP.
|
| With the web open in FP, double click to open the subweb, once the subweb is open, you should only
| see two folders, _private and images, do you see these?
