Convert to the Full version of Microsoft Office

I have an expiration date of August 31, 2008 for Microsoft Office Home and
Student 2007. I have tried to convert by Selecting Enter Product Key and
Click Continue. I then Enter my Product Key. Click Continue then Choose the
installation Install Now. The Configuration Progress runs and the final
window message reads, Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 Trial
configuration has completed successfully. Then Click Close. After closing all
Microsoft Office programs. I open Word and check to see if I have activation.
The program stays in trial mode and still has an expiration date for August
31, 2008. Will I have to buy a Product Key Online?

Did you actually BUY a product key or are you entering the activation key
you got when you downloaded the trial version?

Yes, you will need to purchase a product key online but a better option is
to purchase a retail version from amazon.com - great prices, free shipping
and you have the media to reinstall if you need to.

Hi Gordon. The Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 Trial progam came
pre-installed with my Windows Vista Home Premium Bundle on my laptop from the
factory. I have been using the Product Key written on the label of the hard
copy sleeve. The sleeve has not been unsealed and the CD contains Microsoft
Works 8.5 and Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007 Trial. These CD's were
part of the purchase along with the laptop.

Hi Milly Staples, I was kind of thinking I might need to do that too. Would
Microsoft Office 2007 be a better progam than Microsoft Office Home and
Student 2007

Home and Student is a specific collection of Microsoft Office programs.

The best value seems to be the Educational version of Office Pro
they sell to students, faculty and 'parents' of students. Forty-odd
UKP.

Only if the OP qualifies and the institution has an agreement with
Microsoft.
