convert trial to live version of Office 2007

Sherry

I purchased Office 2007 through a program from work and it came on a dvd, my
computer does not have a dvd so I have not been able to load the software. I
have downloaded a trial version of Office 2007 and it is about to expire. Is
there any way I can use my key for the complete version of Office I have on
DVD to continue using office on this computer.

Actually my son purchased a 6 month trial version of Office 2007 with a text
book for school and it was loaded on out laptop computer which crashed and I
was unable to load the 6 month trial version onto the desktop. That is how
we came about to download the trial version from Microsoft website.

Can someone advise me how I can use my coplete version of Office?

Thanks

No you cannot use the key supplied with your dvd to convert the trial.
You need to buy a dvd drive or combined dvd/cd drive
Uninstall any trial, prior to installing any paid for version

Other than purchasing a DVD/CD external drive if you have access to another
computer and a thumb (USB) drive that will hold at least 4 GB of data, you
can copy the entire DVD contents to the thumb drive and install that way.
Another alternative is if you have access to a network, you can copy the DVD
across the network from a networked computer that has a DVD drive to your
hard drive and then install from your hard drive.
