I have a text created with upper case font, and would like to convert to
lower case without having to retype the entire body of the text. It was
generated on a Zaurus pda in upper case and transferredd into Word.doc.

I have a text created with upper case font, and would like to convert to
lower case without having to retype the entire body of the text. It was
generated on a Zaurus pda in upper case and transferredd into Word.doc.

Select the text and then press Shift+F3, which is a shortcut for the
Change Case command. Repeatedly pressing the same combination will
cycle through upper case, lower case, and sentence case (only the
first letter of each sentence capitalized).

Alternatively, you can select the text and use the menu item Format >
Change Case. The dialog gives you the same choices plus Word's
crippled version of title case (capitalize the first letter of each
word -- not true title case, which doesn't capitalize words such as
'and' and 'the').
