We use Crystal Reports embedded in another application to export reports. The
developers of the app, in their infinite wisdom, used a version that will
export to Word for Windows 2.0. (Eh? What's that you say, Sonny? The old grey
mare ain't what she used to be?)
When we try to open the file Word 2002 says "The document name or path is
not valid. Try these suggestions. *Check the file permissions for the
document or drive.
*Use the File Open dialog box to locate the document."
Wordpad says it's a Word for Windows 2.0 document. The file is around 13MB
is size. It can be opened in Notepad, if you're willing to wait a few days,
but we need to preserve the formatting.
Any suggestions?
