Convert Word to Works

I am running Works 9.0 on Vista Home Premium. I cannot open a Word document
sent as an e-mail attachment. Is there a way of reading or saving a Word
document in Works?

How are you trying to open the attachment? If you save it to your HD first,
then start Works, navigate to the document, and try to open it, does that
work?

You could probably open the attachment directly if you would associate the
..doc file type with Works. You'll need to do this in Windows Explorer.
Right-click on a .doc file, choose Open With, select Works, and check the
box for "Always use this program to open this kind of file" (or whatever the
wording is).
