convert zero-length to Null

I am trying to change zero-length strings to Null on a table. How do i
do this.

Use an update query. First backup your database.
UPDATE Mark SET Mark.status = Null
WHERE (((Mark.status)=""));
Substitue your table name for Mark and your field name for status.
