Converted page initial position is not correct.

Microsoft® Office OneNote® (Beta)(12.0.4017.1003) MSO (12.0.4017.1003) BETA

I have noticed that some notes is some sections are showing the title and
date/time at the bottom of the page. This section was converted when I
installed ON 2007 over ON 2003.

To Solve this I use the scroll bar to scroll down and then up and ON
positions the title and date/time in the correct location. This appears to be
a display issue related to the conversion of the page.

Please let me know if I should report this in connect?

I would recommend reporting it. However, before you do, let's get some more
information....
Check the pages that have the problem. Are they based on stationery pages?
If so, if you apply the stationery to a new page, does the same thing
happen?

I ask because I have a few pages that have done this, but have not been able
to find anything in common about them except possibly a problem with the
stationery they are based on....

More Information:

When I scroll down and up, the page appears to be fixed and will display
correctry for the current ON session. But if I restart ON then the note
displays the title and date/time at the bottom again (??). Also, When it is
in the bad state I can insert text above the title. Then I stop and restart
ON and the text that I added is now at the bottom of the page, and the title
and date/time is below that.

I have not noticed that behavior on any note that I created after the
initial conversion.

More Information:

1. I did a Reorg all and it didn't make a difference

2. The page does not have a template (or it is blank). I guess there is
still no way of appling a template to an existing page, or I don't know how.

3. I do not see anything the same about the pages except the following: They
do not have a template. I thought they all had a scanned image, but I found
one that did not. This page had an empty (or space) text block on the far
right.

4. I did set the Section to a new template and create a blank page, but this
did not affect the bad page. I then drug the bad page to this section, but
the new copy of the page was bad also.

5. I have found that if I copy the page (right mouse copy) and past in a new
section the page is OK (no longer bad even after restart). Also a cut makes
the page OK in the new section. BUT, if you drag-and-drop the bad page into a
new section, it is bad in the new section. Differences: cut/copy and paste
displayes the page immediatly and the drap-and-drop does not. I have tried
this on multiple bad pages and they all act the same.

I can send the .one file with the bad pages. Should I report to connect?

Tony,
I think definitely report this to connect. It may be the same problem I am
seeing, it may not. No matter what, it will help the OneNote team to know
the exact page you are having problems with.
