Converting a documnet to a table, maintaing formating

I have a document that is set up for 1/2 pages (5.5x 8.5 in) and I need to
take this to the printers. The printers recommend I lay it out as 2 up.

basically, 2 copies of the same page on each 8.5x11 page in landscape, side
by side.

I need to keep the offset margin for binding (even has a .75 border on
right, and .5 border on the left, and odd pages are set up just the
opposite.)

How can I do this?
