In the previous version of powerpoint, when I pasted in a picture from another file, it allowed me to ungroup the picture, but prompted me first with a pop-up message saying in order to ungroup, must convert picture to microsoft drawing (or object) and I would click ok, then it would ungroup. In this new version of powerpoint, I'm not given that option. Does anyone know how to ungroup a picture or convert it to an object so that I can ungroup?

If the picture is a bitmap rather than a drawing/vector graphics, it won't be
ungroup-able.
