converting a table into an image

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel hi, i'm curious if there is any way to covert a microsoft word 2008 table into a static jpeg image. i see there are options to convert text into table, and tables into text. i suppose a workaround is to take a screen shot of the document and use that, but i'm curious if there is a way to do this within word itself....

1. You can copy the table and select "Paste Special" and then select "Picture."

2. You can copy and then paste the image into Photoshop, and save it as a JPEG. However, I always recommend the PNG format. It's more reliable, especially cross-platform.
