I'm having problems converting AutoCAD files into Visio 2003 SP1. It have
verified that it works on an EXTREMELY simple, one-layer DXF file, but it
chokes on anything of substance. I have a classroom layout map (DXF format)
that I import into a blank Visio drawing. I then right-click on the object,
select CAD Drawing Object then Convert. After an eternity of processing,
when it reaches 100% and tries to render it to the screen again it just
hangs. I've waited 20 mins for it to complete and nothing. Any ideas on
what to do? I've tried turning off layers but when it renders it back to
the screen, it hangs. Really irritating.
