converting date format

What is the procedure to convert the date column that is
formatted in a UK date format to a USA format? Please
rush because I have to convert a column of 700 plus dates
within the next 20 minutes. Thank you

If your cell format is date, use Format Cells...>Number>Date.

If your cell format is text, use Tools>Text to Columns...
