Anyone with any experience on a process to convert saved .eml message
format items to a .msg format?
I have a customer who has just converted from OE to Outlook 2003, and
they have a considerable amount of saved Outlook Express emails stored
in in various Windows folders. I need to get these emails opening with
the OL 2003 program, which I've done, but when the editor opens (Msoft
Word) the email contents load as an attachment, instead of displaying
the original email content within the body of the email.
I'm thinking I need to convert these .eml file types to a .msg file
type to get them to display properly within the OL 2003 editor (using
OE as the email client I'm trying to avoid for varous reasons). Is this
the right approach to address this issue and is there a preferred
utility to do this? If anyone can assist, would appreciate - thanks
