Converting Excel for Macintosh 1.x files

I am looking for some help in translating some old Excel files. I am
running Excel 98 on a Macintosh OS 8.6. The program won't convert such old
files. I am getting little help from utilities like Can Opener, etc. I
will take a look in a few days and see if there is any help available.

Unfortunately, you'll need to find a copy of XL3 or XL4. XL4 runs in
Classic mode:

An *old* MacLinkPlus version might translate them, too.
