We have recently upgraded our LAN from using the Corel Perfect Office Suite
(version 8) to Microsoft Office 2003. Converting files is generally not a
problem, but on one particular computer it takes about 90 seconds to open any
file that was originally created in Corel WP. For larger files (4 - 5 pages
in length), it takes even longer. I have tried repairing the software
installation and uninstalling and reinstalling MS Office on the workstation.
Is there anything else I should try? Other computers in the office with
identical hardware, software, and the same version of MS Office do not seem
to have a problem.
Any suggestions appreciated.
