Converting/importing MS Works docs to Excel/Word

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC

Hello, all. I've got many MS Works 2 docs (both spreadsheets and word processing docs) that I haven't been able to access since going to OS X. I was hoping that Office 2008 would be able to convert them, but it can't. Are there 3rd-party apps available to do this, or is there another way?
