converting infopath forms created in Visual Studio 2003 to VSTA

I have a bunch of infopath forms that were created in Visual Studio 2003; inow have InfoPath 2010 installed, and i need to convert these forms so i can modify them using VSTA.

I'm having trouble finding any information on how to convert the old forms to VSTA. I have VSTA installed. I guessed that hI should Open Infopath designer and open the the manifest of one of the old forms; i then checked theDeveloper/Language buttons, and i get a message that allows me to remove the managed code(don't want that), and also says "Managed Code Cannot be Edited in InfoPath".

can anybody point me in the right direction?
