converting macro to VBA error

Tony P

I am having trouble converting macros in Access 2000 into
VBA statements using the Tools/Macro/Convert macro to VBA.

I get a message stating that "the <application> can not
find the wizard or there is a syntax error in the
declarations section of a visual basic module.

The wizard you need may be missing from the Libraries key
of the <application> section of the Windows Registry.

To make sure that the wizard is in the Windows Registry,
run Setup to reinstall the <application> and then compile
all visual basic modules in the database."

I reinstalled both Access and the application and compiled
under VB's menu Debug/compile and do not get any relief.

What is the problem here and how can I solve it?

Thank you for your help.

Regards,
Tony.

This is what I had to do:

First I uninstalled Access 2000 through the Control Panel,
then reinstalled it making sure that the alternate wizards
are included in the setup.

I powered off to a cold start, restarted my computer and
found that it worked. It appears that there are alternate
wizards of which "macro to VBA conversion"
and "documenter" are a part of and must be installed
separately.
