Converting multiple Access 97 to Access 2002

Hi,

Right or wrong, our company has hundreds of Access 97 databases. We
want to get rid of Access 97 and move to Access 2002. Is there any
way to have some program/script search a drive or directory and then
automatically convert all Access 97 databases to Access 2002 databases
in one shot instead of converting them all individually?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm not quite sure what your "right or wrong" comment is supposed to mean,
but see whether this KB article helps:

One comment. There's really no such thing as an automatic conversion.
There's always a chance that some manual intervention is going to be
required. As well, it's a good idea to ensure that all of the Access 97
databases compile properly before trying to convert them. Since you're going
to have to touch each database to ensure it compiles, there's really not
much to be gained by automating the conversion: you may as well convert each
one manually. Just my 2 cents worth.
