converting outlook express 98 to outlook 98

when I try to export from outlook express to outlook, I get a message that
says the export could not be performed, Your derault MAPI store could not be
opened.

what do I do to fix this.

You must have both Outlook and Outlook Express installed and functional on
the machine you use to do the export/import.
