Converting pptx files to mov while maintaining animation and music

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to convert a pptx presentation with
custom animation and sound to a movie file without losing the animation
elements? I was told there is a function on the mac version of powerpoint
that supports this.

Hi,

PowerPoint 2004 has File > Make Movie, which preserves many of the
animations, but also substitutes some animations for others (see the
Help file in PowerPoint 2004).

I think you're better off using screen recording software, such as
SnapZPro from Ambrosia.
