Hello Everyone,
I have a table which is linked to a fairly large (and wide) text file. The
text file does not have tabs in it, so each field on the linked table is
specified as fixed width. Rather than having the table linked as an
external file, I want to import it directly as a table stored inside my
Access database. The problem is every time I try to import the text file, I
have to re-specify where each field begins & the type of data (text, date,
etc.) that it is. There has got to be a better way...
How do I save an existing table's design as an import specification so that
I can simply use that spec the next time I import my text file?
Thanks in advance,
Juan
