Converting tables to PDF with black shading and white text

Hi:

I have a table that spans about 2.5 pages. The first row is shaded black
with text color as automatic (shows as white). This row is to be repeated
across the pages.

When I convert to PDF via Adobe Acrobat in Word the heading row on all pages
but the first page displays the black shading and no text.

I have tried changing the font color to white. Same result.

I had this problem once before and fixed it but forgot the solution.

Can someone help me again?
