Converting Visio File to PowerPoint

Hi:
Is there a way to Save or Convert a drawing made in Visio (a .vsd file)
into a PowerPoint file ( a .ppt file) so that it is editable by PowerPoint,
not just a picture or bitmap ? If so, please advise me on what steps to
take to make this conversion.

visio and powerpoint use two different object models, where you can copy a
visio drawing as a metafile to powerpoint (basically you are copying just
the lines/text) you lose all of the smarts that visio brought to the
picture.
